If you are looking for a phone with a solid selfie shot, then Oppo F3 is the best fit for you. It is marketed as a selfie expert smartphone equipped with dual front camera. The first camera is 16 megapixel and the second one is 8 megapixel.
The front camera has a feature called double view where it allows you to switch into a wider angle (120 degrees) when taking a groupie. Its rear camera is not that cool though. It has only 13 megapixel but already has an anti-shake feature and ultra HD shot.
Oppo F3's display is an IPS LCD capacititive touchscreen with 5.5 inches in size. Big enough when you play games or viewing bigger documents. Resolution stands at 1080 x 1920 pixels. It has also an FHD (Full HD) dislay, not bad for its price range!
Oppo F3's body is slim and thin. It claims to have a comfortable grip and a very narrow design measuring at only 2.0 mm.
The screen uses Corning Gorilla glass 5 that is designed to survive 80% of the time when it is dropped from as high as 1.6 meters. This is indeed a good point for this unit because it protects your phone, particularly the screen, from accidental damage.
Internal memory varies from 64GB and 4GB. But no need to worry so much about this as the phone is exandable at up to 256GB via micro SD card. This is already a huge allotment for expansion, so no worries in terms of memory capacity.
Moreover, battery is a non-removable lithium-ion measuring at 3,200 mAh. This is already more than enough to survive the day.
Oppo F3 is run by Android 6.0 Marshmallow with possible upgrade to Oreo. It is run by superfast octa-core, 64-bit processor. This is a very impressive feat as the demand for higher processor increases to accomodate the demand of newer apps and games. Oppo F3 really stands out in this area. Aside from that, its RAM is 4GB, more than enough to do multi-tasking activities.
Aside from that, its RAM is 4GB, big enough to do simple and multi-tasking activities. Remember that a bigger RAM contributes a lot to the speed performance of a phone.
Oppo F3 is already LTE with GPU, Fingerpint sensors, accelerometer, proximity, compass, bluetooth, wifi and GPS. Unfortunately, this comes with no radio. This unit also comes with a plus variant called the Oppo F3 plus.
In conclusion, Oppo F3 and its variant F3 Plus are definitely good alternatives for Samsung, iPhone and Huawei. Its front cameras are impressive and trully lives to its marketing as a selfie expert. It also has a good processor and excellent protection using Corning Gorilla glass 5.
However, geat front camera comes at the expense of downgrading the rear camera by several pixels. This is certainly not the best fit for those who love to take panoramic photos and full body shots.
Over-all this phone is good enough for its price and quality. If you want to see a video unboxing this unit I would recommend this one as it is very detailed and clear.
